Oven Roasted Asparagus

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 bunch thin asparagus, trimmed
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 ½ tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced)
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 425° F.
  • Place asparagus into a mixing bowl; drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  • Arrange asparagus in a single layer in a baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until just tender, 12 to 15 minutes depending on thickness. Sprinkle with lemon juice just before serving.

TIP: To remove the woody ends, grab stalk of asparagus at either end and bend until it snaps. It will naturally snap where it starts to get tough.
