Sean Davis and his family warmly invite you to celebrate the season at the Davis Family Farm Pumpkin Fest, returning for its second year on their beautiful, rolling 113 acres of farmland. This fall tradition blends small-town charm with big-hearted fun, bringing together families, friends, and neighbours to make memories in the crisp autumn air. Whether you come for pumpkins, treats, or a full day of adventure, you’ll find plenty to explore.
The Pumpkin Fest runs on September 26 and October 3, a perfect window before Thanksgiving to stroll the fields and pick out your ideal Halloween pumpkin. With seven acres dedicated to pumpkins, you’ll discover all shapes, sizes, and colours – from classic carving pumpkins to decorative gourds for your porch. It’s also the best time to stock up on seasonal goodies to make your Thanksgiving table extra special. Think fresh-baked treats, preserves, and indulgent snacks that taste like fall in every bite.

As you arrive, you’re welcome to wander at your own pace across the farm. Enjoy wagon rides that meander past fields and fencelines, offering views of the countryside and plenty of chances to snap photos. Along the way, you’ll find activity stations and little surprises designed to keep kids entertained and grownups smiling. The atmosphere is easy-going and family-first – come as you are, take your time, and soak up the scenery.
A vibrant vendor market is on during these two days of the Pumpkin Fest, featuring forty to fifty local makers and small businesses each day. Expect tables filled with handcrafted gifts, cozy knits, seasonal decor, artisanal foods, and unique treasures you won’t find in big-box stores. It’s the kind of market where you meet the person who made what you’re buying, and where a conversation often leads to a great recommendation or a new favourite snack. Bring a tote bag – you’ll likely leave with more than you planned.
Community spirit is everywhere at Davis Family Farm, and the next generation leads by example. The Davis children will be selling their bracelets, joined by friends and hockey teammates who pitch in with enthusiasm. Their entrepreneur spirit adds a fun, youthful energy to the festival and reminds everyone that family fun and local support go hand in hand.
Looking for convenience on the go? The farm’s roadside stand will be stocked with pumpkins grown on their seven acres, during the complete fall season. If you’re just driving by or need a quick pick-up, you can still bring home a perfect pumpkin without setting aside a full day.

As the month turns and evenings grow spookier, Sean is excited to welcome you to the farm’s beloved Ghostly Greenhouses – now in their fifth year. For two thrilling weekends – October 18–19 and October 25–26 – the farm’s three greenhouses transform into immersive haunted houses. Friday nights run 7–9 pm, and Saturdays 6–9 pm, offering a fun, fright-filled outing that’s family-friendly yet delightfully eerie. Created and hosted together with the Maramieri family, the Spooky Haunted Houses are packed with playful scares, clever sets, and just the right amount of mystery. Best of all, proceeds from the Ghostly Greenhouses go directly to Celiac Canada and CF Canada, adding a meaningful cause to your night out.
And while this invitation spotlights Pumpkin Fest, the farm can’t help but give a grateful nod to the Sunflower Festival earlier in the season, running July 25 to August 9. This sunny celebration features special themed days and community partnerships. These sunflower days set the tone for everything that follows on the farm; colourful, welcoming, and rooted in giving back.
Across every event, the Sunflower Festival, Pumpkin Fest, and the Ghostly Haunted Greenhouses, the Davis Family Farm stands for one thing: Family Fun. It’s a place to gather, laugh, discover local talent, and enjoy seasonal traditions made special by the people who share them. From children’s giggles on wagon rides to the satisfaction of finding “the one” pumpkin, from warm drinks in mittened hands to cheerful chats with vendors, you’ll feel the spirit of the farm in every corner.
