This home was a total gut and renovation. The scope of this renovation comprised of 10,000 square feet of restructuring and then re-assembling.
Brian had some help with this project and proudly compliments the work of Silver Birch Design for the design and installation of all the cabinetry in the home including the magnificent library. He had French Glass Co. take care of the showers in the five bathrooms as well as the dog room. Hyde Whipp Heating & Air Conditioning installed the HVAC system and Dan Lormand & Son Roofing completed the 10000 square foot plus roof.

When you enter the generous mudroom, floor to ceiling storage cabinets line the long walls. The large brass ceiling lights supply plenty of light. The handsome herringbone brick floor spans ahead of you. It draws your attention to the variegated coloured brick that is easy to maintain. It is so impressive and welcoming.
Off the mudroom is the “dog’s room.” Here you will find a generous sink and shelving to host all the products needed to care for the owners’ dogs. At the end of this room is a large shower for washing the four-footed family members. The gorgeous brick flooring continues into this room.
Down the hall is a vast butler’s pantry, with handy pocket doors. The floor in here is a creamy mosaic stone tile, and the cabinets are a soft green colour.
Across from the butler’s pantry is an attractive powder room sporting the same mosaic tile.
A magnificent private library offers multi-wall open bookshelves and cabinets. Brian and his team created a beautifully worked fireplace surround to increase the coziness of the library. The dark green colour of the room helps to envelop you and create a peaceful atmosphere to read one of the many books. Gorgeous transomed cream-coloured double doors shut off the library for privacy.
Further down the hall, we are welcomed into a large open concept kitchen and dining room. The walls in here are magnificent stone with wide plank white oak floors. A custom built-in wood hood stands within an arch over the impressive stove. The cathedral ceilings soar above supported by wide natural wood beams, that Brian and his team erected.
Across from the huge island in the kitchen is a built-in wet bar housed in white cabinetry.
Over the doorways are handsome wood beams that BCON Cabinetry constructed. The rustic mantal is not to be dismissed over the stone fireplace in the dining room. It is beautifully custom crafted by Brian and his team. The cabinetry on the dining room wall is again painted a dark green colour, which is the theme in the house. There are French doors leading from the dining room outside.
Through the stone doorway, between the kitchen and dining room, we step into the sunken living room. This cozy but open room again sports Brian’s beautiful white oak floors and beamed ceiling. The common wall to the kitchen and dining room is that wonderful stone. Opposite the stone, Brian and his team installed vertical white shiplap. There is another fireplace in the living room, surrounded with cabinetry and shelves. The entrance to the front hall and door is angled with wood panelling supporting the thick wall.
Outside, the roof extends over the front door, creating a welcoming canopy. The painted cream millwork offers an elegant entrance, with BCON responsible for constructing both the woodwork and the attractive window trim.
