NAK Cabinetry & Tile manages and organizes the renovations of complete rooms, however they can do elements of a renovation, or simply supply just the materials if that is all that is needed. NAK supports the trades with client design consultation, material calculations and waterproofing take offs and estimates.
The first step in any renovation or new build is to visit their showroom to select your preferred materials, styles and textures, and colour that make your heart sing. The NAK staff is always on hand to suggest and advise. After the selections are made NAK Cabinetry & Tile will then work out the pricing based on the needs for your project. They also offer a measuring service. Quite often clients will have their own construction team and that is fine too. The NAK team is happy to integrate, support and work with a client’s preferred contractor.

Renovation in Caledon
The proud owners of a beautiful home graciously offered Oliver Muhs the opportunity to present the gorgeous results of a complete home renovation including several bathrooms and a kitchen. All materials were supplied and installed by the NAK Cabinetry & Tile team.
We start off in the primary bedroom ensuite. Your eyes are drawn to a freestanding 60” X 32” Neptune mega tub with an arched gooseneck style tub filler. White beadboard surrounds the luxurious bath, with a thoughtful niche for personal hygiene products, or whatever one needs to enjoy a relaxing soak. This ensuite offers a spa-like experience.
The heated floor boasts Icon Grey Hexagon 8.5” X 8.75” tiles made in Italy.
Next to the tub is the striking two-sink white vanity with a Vico Stone Icelake countertop. The faucets are the matching brushed nickel, the same as in the bathtub. Large white framed mirrors hang on the restful green walls with attractive lights above.
Opposite the sinks is a roomy glass shower. The shower floor has 2” hexagon mosaic natural stone in Icelandic green. The striking shower wall tile features Renzo Jade 2.5” x 14” picket tiles. The curbs, niche and cap on the knee wall are completed with crystal white quartz. The two niches in the shower provide an impressive amount of space.
The handles, rain head and handheld shower heads are a handsome brushed nickel finish. The cabinets were refinished to compliment the other elements in the ensuite. The sleek white toilet is tucked away discreetly beside the shower adding an extra element of privacy.
Still on the second floor, there are two bedrooms which share a jack and jill bathroom. NAK Cabinetry & Tile completely renovated this bathroom as well, updating the existing vanity with fresh colour and a new quartz countertop with two sinks. The countertop sports a Carrara Marmi stone. A new versatile four door linen cabinet stands tall between the vanity and wall. All the faucets, round framed mirrors, handles, towel rings, lights and shower fixtures are a striking black. Opposite the vanity stands an all-glass shower featuring white sub-way wall tiles and gray 2” hexagon matte tile on the shower floor. The bathroom floor is finished with porcelain glazed 8” gray hexagon tiles.

On the main floor NAK Cabinetry & Tile tastefully renovated a full guest bathroom in the same style as the jack and jill bathroom, complete with a 3’ x 3’ all-glass shower using 4” x 6” Urbano tiles on the wall. The shower floor is covered by a 2” hexagon porcelain matte finish tile. The new comfort height sparkling white toilet stands next to the shower, and a new large single sink grey vanity welcomes guests. The faucets, oval framed mirror, towel rack, rain head and handheld shower wand as well as the drain cover are a handsome matte black finish. The countertop stone is a white quartz stone with a backsplash and side splash.
Of course, NAK Cabinetry & Tile ensures that all the showers and floors they install are waterproofed with Schluter products ensuring the highest quality results that come with the industry’s leading warranty.
Oliver Muhs and his team at NAK Cabinetry & Tile completed a redesign of the homeowner’s kitchen. The once awkward kitchen now has a workable flow. The fridge that was inconvenient to work with has been repositioned seamlessly.

The NAK team designed the kitchen layout and selected the cabinets with a step shaker profile in the door and a lower sheen white finish. The double bowl stainless steel sink is a handsome gun metal finish that blends nicely with the matte black faucets and handles. The tile backsplash is a beautiful Stella Emerald 2” x 10” tile and runs from the counters up the entire wall to the ceiling and around the window providing a solid looking finish that pulls everything together. The countertops are made from Vicostone Icelake quartz. Nak Cabinetry & Tile designed a custom-built slim island featuring lovely detailed columns and the same Vicostone Icelake quartz top. Two sturdy black stools nestle under the overhang, matching the hardware and accents. The pendant lights above the island complement the room. There is under-mounted lighting that plays magically on the tile backsplash. This kitchen begs for you to create something wonderful to eat!

Oliver and his team at NAK Cabinetry & Tile are highly skilled at their craft. From design to finishing additional requested tasks such as providing glass for showers or removing popcorn and refinishing ceilings or drywall, painting walls or refinishing older cabinets, NAK has the resources and services needed to complete the task when a customer requires them. NAK Cabinetry & Tile is truly a one stop source for all your renovation needs.
This kitchen and bathroom renovation is impressive in its craftmanship and attention to detail.
